Bluecoats of Medina County Hire Ron Stollar and Kathy Breitenbucher as Co-Executive Directors

Medina County, Ohio – Bluecoats of Medina County has just announced the hiring of Ron Stollar and Kathy Breitenbucher to be Co-Executive Directors of the organization.

“Kathy and I are like two sides of one coin,” said Stollar. “We both bring different strengths to the table and make one whole.”
“The opportunity to work with Ron is definitely one of the benefits of this position,” said Breitenbucher. “Bluecoats is such an important organization and partnering with Ron will allow us to take it to the next level very quickly.”

Bluecoats of Medina County was founded in 2003 to support the families of first responders who are injured or killed in the line of duty. “It is really one of those things you hope we never need but are so grateful it is here if the worst were to happen,” said Kimberly Miller, Board Chair. “We have had a strong history of support for our communities, and we look forward to seeing what the next chapter brings with Ron and Kathy at the helm.”

Ron and Kathy will present the Board with their plans for the future at their first board meeting and have already hit the ground running. “We want to stay true to the mission, but also add services for our safety community before something tragic happens,” said Stollar. “These folks put themselves in harm’s way for us every single day and we want to be sure they know how much Medina County cares.”
