Bluecoats of Medina County
Bluecoats of Medina County is a non-profit dedicated to First Responders. Bluecoats of Medina County, Inc was founded in 2003 by a group of local business leaders who believed in the original Bluecoats mission which was established in Cuyahoga County in 1956.
We provide immediate financial assistance to the families of First Responders who have lost their lives or have become permanently disabled in the line of duty. Our support extends to all individuals currently serving Police, Sheriff, Fire (paid or volunteer), EMS, Dispatch, and Corrections departments in Medina County. We also provide guidance in accessing other local, state, and federal resources available to the effected families.
In 2024 we expanded our mission to provide additional support to our First Responders and their families. These contributions will take the form of grants provided by Bluecoats for mental health programs, the purchase of goods, equipment, education, or other services as needed to bolster our First Responders.
We achieve our mission through the annual contributions of our members. Our members join Bluecoats to support the safety forces who have dedicated their lives to serving our community. All officers, committee members, and board members of Medina County Bluecoats, Inc. provide their time as volunteers. Please consider joining us.
